WHY IT MATTERS

Disability awareness is a leader skill

Most managers want to do right by their people and were never taught how. Awareness without tools turns into silence, avoidance and lost talent. This program gives you the method.

WHO IS IT FOR

Built for the people who lead, and the people they lead

One program, three ways in. Pick the one that sounds like you.

Managers and team leads

You lead people every day, and nobody trained you for the moment a team member discloses a disability, asks for an adjustment or quietly disengages. Learn the conversations, the coaching moves and the expectations that make every person contribute.

HR, L&D and organization leaders

You need a program your managers will finish and that changes behavior, not a compliance box to tick. Deploy it to a cohort, track completion and give your leaders one shared language.

Individuals, students and people experiencing disabilities

Leverage your own obstacles, name your limiting beliefs and design the extraordinary career you want. The same tools the leaders learn, starting with yourself.
THE JOURNEY

Four sections. 32 modules. One transformation.

Each module is a 10 to 15 minute video with a reflection and one action to try this week. The path runs from personal awareness to leadership, then from coaching to the conversations that break down barriers. Complete all four sections, pass the exam, earn your certificate.

1. Simple Steps for an Extraordinary Career and Life

Disability applies to all of us. Name your obstacles, drop the deficit mindset and build your own great expectations culture.

2. Turning Managers into Leaders

From managing tasks to leading people: engagement, servant leadership, accountability, delegation and recognition, with Eugene Wallace.

3. How to Coach Your Employees, Peers and Supervisor

Powerful questions, Level 3 listening and the five roles of a coach, so growth happens one conversation at a time.

4. Conversational Charisma

Presence, courageous conversations and conflict resolution: the communication that turns awareness into action.
HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. No lectures, no filler.

Designed for busy managers: every module fits into a working day,and every section ends with something you can use on Monday.

01  Watch

Ten to fifteen minutes with Scott or Eugene. Real stories, one framework, no slides to sit through. On your laptop or your phone, whenever you have the time.

02  Do

Each module closes with a reflection in your workbook and one action to try this week with your team. The change happens between the modules, not during them.

03  Earn your certificate

Finish the four sections, pass the certificate exam and earn a certificate you can share with your organization and on LinkedIn.

WHY INCIGHT

Not another compliance course

INCIGHT is a Portland, Oregon nonprofit that has spent more than twenty years changing how workplaces see disability.
This academy is that work, made available to anyone.

Twenty years in the room

Every framework here was tested in front of real managers, in real workshops, long before it became a video. Nothing in this program is theory.

Taught by people who live it

Scott leads INCIGHT with the help of a ventilator and has asked thousands of people to name their obstacles. When he talks about expectations, he has earned the right.

A mission, not a product line

Your enrollment supports a nonprofit whose only goal is to move the world toward expecting great contributions from people experiencing disabilities.

Questions people ask before they start

Is this only for managers?

No. The first section is about you: your obstacles, your beliefs, your expectations. Managers, HR teams, students and people experiencing disabilities all start there. Sections 2 to 4 then build the leadership, coaching and communication skills.

How long does it take?

32 modules of 10 to 15 minutes, plus a short action after each one. Most learners complete a section in two to three weeks and the whole program in two to three months, at their own pace.

What do I get at the end?

A certificate exam and, once you pass, a Disability-Aware Leader certificate you can download, share on LinkedIn and add to your organization's records.

Can my organization or school sponsor my access?

Yes. Organizations enroll their teams through a quote request, and sponsored learners receive an access link or code. If your organization already gave you one, sign in and it will be waiting for you.
